Camping Cancellation and Policies

RV/Tenting: 

• All cancellations and / or changes made prior to 14 days from the reserved check-in date will be assessed a cancellation fee of $10 for each cancelled night.

• All cancellations and / or changes made within 14 days of the intended check-in date will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.

• Rates are based on 2 people per site. For each additional person over the age of 7, a $5.00 charge will be applied to the total.

• Check-in is any time between 1:00 PM MDT- 6:00 PM MDT.

• Check-out is by 11:00 AM MDT. (no need to check out at the office)

• Please be mindful of the RV length and type when making your reservation as all sites are specific to the measurements listed for each accommodation.

• Pets allowed in RV and Tent camping only. No additional fees applied.

• Dogs are allowed in the Kemps Kamp Pop-up Campers for an additional $25.00 cleaning fee.

• Firewood available for purchase at office. Do not take wood from the forest.

• $500.00 fine for fires on the ground- use elevated grates provided.

• No rugs allowed on the grass.

• On-site dump station available for a $5.00 fee per dump.

• One vehicle per site. (limited overflow parking can be arranged)

Cabins:

• All cancellations and / or changes made prior to 30 days from the reserved check-in date will be assessed a cancellation fee of $10 for each cancelled night.

• All cancellations and / or changes made within 30 days of the intended check-in date will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.

• Single- room cabin rates are based on 2 people. Double-room cabin rates are based on 4 people. For each additional person, a $10.00 charge will be applied to the total.

• Total number of people per cabin must not exceed maximum capacity of each cabin.

• Check-in is anytime between 3:00PM-6:00PM MDT.

• Check-out is by 10:00AM MDT. (no need to check out at the office, simply leave your keys in the cabin upon departure)

• A replacement fee will be charged if linens are ruined.

• $25.00 fee for key replacement. Please leave keys in cabin upon departure.

• All cabins are non-smoking. A fine of $250.00 will be charged to the credit card on file for smoking inside the cabins.

• No pets are allowed in cabins 1-14. A fine of $250.00 will be charged to the credit card on file for pets inside these cabins.

• Sleeper Cabins do allow pets for an additional $25.00 cleaning fee. If your pet is not registered with the office, a fine of $250.00 will be charged to the credit card on file.

• $500.00 fine for fires on the ground- use elevated grates.

Early Departures

• All camping and cabin charges are paid prior to check-in and are non-refundable. Please Refer to cancellation policy regarding any refunds.

Late Arrival

• Our office closes at 6:00PM MDT. We strongly recommend checking in prior to 6PM. However, late arrival information regarding your stay will be provided on the bulletin board at the office.

Pool Notice

• No lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk. All children must be supervised by an adult.

Rate Information

• All rates are valid for 2024.

Independence Holiday and Sturgis Motorcycle Rally are subject to our holiday rates. No Online reservations are available during these timeframes. Please call 605-666-4654 to book.

Sturgis Motorcycle Rally & Independence Day 

All reservations are considered permanent once they are booked. From the reservation date up to 30 days prior to your arrival a $25 fee will be charged to each cancelled night. Within 30 days of your confirmed arrival, all cancellations will be non-refundable and the full amount due will be charged to the card on file.
