Camping Reminders
1. Pets are allowed in the camping area but not in the shower houses, pool area, cabins and rental campers. Please plan to keep your pet on a leash and clean up after them. DO NOT plan to leave Fido tied up at the campsite while you are away enjoying the sites and attractions. We love dogs, but nobody likes a barking dog. And yes, your dog probably barks when you are not there. Please be considerate to Fido and our other campers. If you leave your dog unattended and it is a problem, we will have to ask you to find another place to stay.

2. We do not allow campfires on the ground. We provide an elevated grate at every campsite for you to cook and enjoy your campfires in. We are within the Black Hills Fire Protection District and must abide by Forest Service and Pennington County fire restrictions. If fire danger conditions warrant, you may be asked to use propane cookstoves for your cooking needs and NO fires will be allowed. We want our beautiful green trees to stay green!

3. Cigarette butts are litter and can start a fire. Do not throw them on the ground. We try very hard to keep our campground clean and cigarette butts do not go away unless someone picks them up.

4. No ATV's are to be used in the campground.

Season Office Hours: 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM Mountain Time

A credit card or one night’s deposit must be used to secure your reservation. No charges will be made to your credit card unless you do not arrive for your reserved stay.

Late Arrivals
Our office closes at 9:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Dusk comes earlier in the mountains and can be anywhere from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. depending on the summer month. We strongly encourage you to schedule your travel day so you arrive in plenty of time to get settled in before it gets dark. Your children will also be disappointed if they can not enjoy the pool before it closes at dusk. We strongly discourage late arrivals because it is disrupting to our other guests and it can be difficult finding your way around in the mountains in the dark. If you must arrive late, please contact the office as soon as possible or make arrangements at the time of making your reservation.
